Build numbers for Fender Custom Shop pieces? The JM I got for Christmas I have never seen anywhere else as in no other dealers have them offered. It's a 2023 build and it doesn't come up on the serial number search, but when I registered the guitar, it did pull up on the custom shop registry, just no information was offered on it.

Did you try contacting Fender directly?

Loads of Fender Custom Shop guitars are "one of one" though... if it has a neckplate engraved with "Limited Edition" then it will have been made in some small quantity, but if not, it could just be a dealer order of a particular spec they thought they could sell.

Emailing the FCS is the best bet, they always reply...
