I do have Tort on my Jag… and can‘t offer much more than this… as I‘m on my way to Italy right now.
In a week I could offer putting on a White Blacktop Jag guard on the same guitar…

Oh, you don't actually have to change out the guard for me! :D I appreciate it, though.

That picture works cuz it looks like the same shade of Oly to what I should be receiving. Now, would you consider that the "good" Fender mint, like the '62 RI guard I put on my CV60s Strat? Or what is that if it's not an actual Fender guard? It doesn't look dayglow green like this one "mint" Strat guard my cousin gave me. LOL

BTW, I like how all you guys have witch hats on your Jags! :D

not sure how easy they are to find but maybe a gold anodized aluminium guard would look nice.

The neck is a 27" conversion, with a Zebrano fb.
Sorry to derail: is this a 24“ conversion or have you moved the bridge?
It's a 24" Conversion neck, making a baritone Jag, tuned to C standard ;D

---

I dug deep and found a pic of my Jag with it's original neck and a parchment pickguard (from Sneaky T). Hope it helps.

Man, you just had to sneak the Orange Dreamcicle in there, huh? If I clear up some credit before it sells I'll risk making the wife mad. 😅

But, to the actual topic of my thread, is your Oly a CV or a VM? The funny part is that I was originally looking for black Jag bodies but then the one I posted above popped up and it dawned on me that I randomly bought a Jag neck with an Oly headstock, thinking I'd repaint it if I used it for something else, but why touch it if it matches? LOL

That's a VM body.

And I know you're joking, but seriously, I don't want anybody on here harming their relationships with people they care about, over objects like guitars. :)

these are customworldguitarparts- for the Jag and a guard cut from a blank plate I got somewhere else.
The Jag guard is the same as here (on OTM):

And the same lighting situation as here: 3 clearly different shades of Mint Green (JM guard is from Earl Pilanz) - I consider all three great Mint tones - imo it always depends on the contrast if it „fits“ a guitar or not

OK, cool, so then it's definitely the same exact white, for basis of comparison. :D

LOL She's actually already aware of the guitar. We were at Guitar Center a couple weeks ago when we both had the day off without the kids and I was showing her that compared to a Jag-Stang that was hanging on the wall.

Here's the whole Imgur album of that Strat from when I did "inventory" a couple weeks ago. :D

It's funny how on the white body it's definitely minty but laying on the other body it looks more parchmenty. LOL

Just looked up the mint guard at Custom World Guitar Parts.

The shipping is...

OOF!

Still not 100% certain on the mint, but I think I'm leaning that way.

How about an anodized gold guard? (Not mine)

You know, I honestly tend not to get along with gold anodized guards. Has to be the right color body and Oly isn't it for me.
