Oh now that will be very nice... It feels like I haven't seen a harvester in ages, but I remember seeing them when I joined here and thinking they were some of the coolest guitars I'd ever seen. Looking forward to watching this become a whole guitar.
Harvester Baritone NR Firebird has arrived... but it's awful

I also remember his early builds, including his first ever customer order. I've been a fan ever since and I was very excited when he liked the idea of the guitar I wanted him to build.F15hface wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 3:18 pmOh now that will be very nice... Sweet. Also a big fan of Harvester. I remember when he was just starting out and how he would always post here.

That LP Junior with the gym flooring top was one of his first build threads here, was it? That was already so cool!

Re: So I commissioned a custom built guitar...
yeah I've been a big fan of his work since then, and it made making decisions very difficult with this guitar. We still haven't really decided on a colour etc yet

You’ve seen his guitars with candled finishes and just didn’t know what they were called.

Re: So I commissioned a custom built guitar...
oh cool, yeah I wondered what that finish was. We're currently undecided between pastel or metallic paint. But I kinda like the idea of off white... or maybe sparkle. Clearly I don't have a clue.countertext wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2023 6:55 amYou’ve seen his guitars with candled finishes and just didn’t know what they were called.

Re: So I commissioned a custom built guitar...
Pickguard layout update.
Thoughts?
There won't be a middle pickup, that was a leftover from the original spec (3x P90s), but we've since decided to go with a pair of Thunderbird shaped WRHB pickups from Lance Amplification. I told him not to bother with the tone control as I never use it, so it's been removed in the last pic.
The bridge is just for show, it's gonna be a cut-off tele bridge with Gotoh "In-tune" saddles.
Now just need to decide on a colour...
