I have a relic P bass but I can't stand relic sparkle finishes. Maybe because I've never seen an old, banged up sparkle guitar.

Anyway forget about the relic bashing, how do they get away with calling that shade of rosewood dark?
All it means is that they paid an extra $75 to have them choose the darkest rosewood blank from the entire pile going that day, instead of "the one at the top of the pile" - which of course may have by coincidence also been the darkest one!

What’s the 10” radius like?
Good - Barely noticeable with a good set up honestly. The difference between 9.5 and 10 is millimeters. My only issue with with a 10" is that is limits the bridge options. Staytrem in my preferred but the slight difference does bug me a bit, and the other options have the 2x3 saddle design which also bugs me a bit, but in the end a Mastery won out.

I did try and get a RSD bridge that they put on the Wildwood 10's Jazzmasters but.... Good luck with that (side note: when did those explode in price?).

Anyway - I am a big fan of the one I got. I had the guy I was working with compare 3 or 4 that they had and got his observations (which were pretty spot on). Its a great playing and sounding Jazzmaster and an excellent complement to the FCS L series Jazzmaster that I have.
Makes sense on the radius. My OBG Les Paul Custom has 12” and It’s totally comfortable. I guess it’s more about the thickness that makes a bigger difference.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Oh yeah... Its a pretty small C - aka not that deep and pretty comfortable to get around on.

I think that regardless of our personal opinions on relicing in general, we can all agree that the relic job on these particular guitars is pretty awful.
Yeah, I like relic finishes but these just look a bit shit, especially for the price. Shame as the colours are really cool

They should do a reverse relic of these ones. Wherever there is wear put paint, and wherever there is finish put wear.

Relicing a guitar requires more labor, of course it costs more.

I bought a Custom Shop Jazzblaster a couple years ago, and the alignment of the pickups was rather poor. It was as if they had just eyeballed the placement when they laid out the pickguard and didn't have a straightedge at hand. I hope they've made a proper template since then.
All pain and troubles melted away like lemon drops beyond the contrails across the sky.
