I just saw two used Squier JMJMs on Reverb. One for €1000 and the other for €775. Really ? F**k off !

Completely mindless.. wonder if anyone pays such prices. It's still a Squier after all.

I was going to message both of them on reverb but decided against it. Bad vibes and it’s none of my business what price they set their guitars at. If someone is stupid enough to pay for it…

Facebook if full of idiots trying to sell these for that sort of money.

The covid bubble has burst, the sooner people start resigning themselves to a loss the better. Those are £500 guitars at best. Ugly fucking things too with the Strat jack socket :k

And the placement of the pickup selector is quite a head scratcher too

I also had one of those green Squier baritones. Bought it for around €250 and sold it for similar.

The strat socket, the pu selector switch, the color.. wow
Hands down the most ugly offset I've ever seen.

There's reasons why these basically flopped and were being blown out on sale everywhere for AGES. Their surge in popularity is hilarious really.

The antigua pickguard is a bit much for me, but with a black one and black hardware they look pretty rad and it's blast to play.

I have seem rumblings about the JMJM coming back but kept getting conflicting info so I just emailed the Australian store, here's the reply I got.

"They were discontinued last year but are now available once again for order - or at least that’s what Fender have indicated.

We have 4 coming next June with 1 already spoken for since they were made available again. I’m not sure how long they’ll last so it could be worth popping in a pre order! So glad to have them back, our favourite Fender guitars by a country mile here at the shop!"

Looks like the rumors might be true?
