Does anyone know if the Fender Mod Shop Jazzmasters come with the old Tremolo (vibrato if you must) or the new Panorama? Also, has there been any word on changing the Mod Shop Jazzmasters electronics to a more historic spec?
Any answers much appreciated!

Re: Jazzmaster Mod Shop Question
Not much help with your question…
From time to time I got to the Mod Shop to see if they’re offering what I would like in a Jazzmaster or Jazz Bass.. Or something wilder like a Thinline Jazzmaster & Thinline Jaguar or Thinline Offset Bass.. Or wilder Paint Colors from 50’s Car Paint Charts & other choices including Metal Flake…
Not to mention Necks, Pickups, choices for Trem’s etc…
I’m surprised by how limited their choices are considering the size of their Parts Bin…

Re: Jazzmaster Mod Shop Question
That's probably what keeps the price where it is, if there are only limited mods then you can just make sure to stock enough of what you list as available. If there were tons of choices they'd have to keep a bunch of different parts in inventory. It'd probably also eat into Custom Shop sales.

Re: Jazzmaster Mod Shop Question
They can use the same Parts Bin as they do for their regular Production of 100 (+/-) different Models of Guitars.. It’s full of all kinds of Parts… Way more than what’s offered on the Mod Shop…Jonesie wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 5:47 amThat's probably what keeps the price where it is, if there are only limited mods then you can just make sure to stock enough of what you list as available. Re: Jazzmaster Mod Shop Question
They're still using the trem with the traditional pivot, and screw-in arm; not the panorama. I doubt that they'd make any significant changes to the electronics setup any time soon.
All pain and troubles melted away like lemon drops beyond the contrails across the sky.
