Bigsbys are utter garbage and nothing will convince me otherwise. Never met one I didn't hate.

What the hell does an Epiphone Casino have to do with a Jazzmaster? They have absolutely nothing in common, other than they’re both 6 string electric guitars.

Also have never played a Bigsby I liked.

On the right guitar I like the look, but functionally, meh.

A couple Posts back Casino’s were brought into the conversation.. Why? I have no idea? Other than people think they’re terrible Guitars especially ones with Bigsby’s..

The Beatles, The Stones & many Others who have accomplished far more than everyone on this Forum has or ever will accomplish played & liked them for some reason.. Tons of Hits have been recorded with them…. They are great Guitars!

Also, tons of Guys have used Bigsby’s for years & have Monster Hit Records that are still played today & will continue on long after we’re gone.. Many have Career’s that have spanned more than half a Century!!!! Get real!

Sometimes people hate just because they’re jealous & envious. Maybe because they never made it as big as the Guys who played them did? Maybe they’re having a bad day? Who knows?

I love my Fenders but will never be naive or narrow minded & think they’re better than a Gibson, Gretsch, Guild, Rickenbacker & many other fantastic Guitars…

I like TOM & P90s

I don’t like TOM & P90s on a JM

These are not binary choices…

Yes, the best cheap backup Jazzmaster is clearly a USA series Epiphone Casino.

Great news is they're only £2699 so you'll have heaps of funds left over to buy and retrofit your favoured Bigsby vibrato Johnny! 8)

The Beatles and Rolling Stones are fucking awful though, not sure what that's about.

Plenty of people on this forum love and own Casinos. There's also a lot of Beatles fans. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here, or where it came from

Next you’ll be saying that the beach boys are awful because Carl Wilson used Epiphones.

The only way to backup your JM (or jag if you’re Carl) is a hollow body w/p90s & a TOM.

Or humbuckers & a bigsby. Pure jealousy to think anything other than this is what you want. Yet more proof, because famous person used them.

No way, much love for (*most of) The Beach Boys.

How about a Gibson Les Paul instead? They are also quite close to being a Jazzmaster.

No Bigsby though :(

Right, it’s clear now: get the Schecter Robert Smith model. Or the Brian May guitar. That’s basically a Jazzmaster.

Maybe a Jazz Bass would be more suitable? They sustain way more (better) than any of these other shit things.

You’re basically hitting sustain heaven right there.

Any further & you hit SUSTAINUTOPIA:
