Thanks! I wasn't familiar with a Bilindastang but I just googled it and I saw some past iterations of your creations. Super cool look! I was thinking about a Nashville Tele setup with a Mini humbucker in the neck on something like a Squier Offset Tele (since they're already routed to accommodate a Nashville configuration), so I'll look more into the Seymour Duncans.Tweedledee wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 7:45 amI loved them in that guitar. They were the SM-1 set, so lower output "vintage" style Firebird pickups. I have the same set (but without the SD logo covers) in my Bilindastang.lastactionhero12765 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 6:26 amThis is gorgeous and exactly the color combo I'd want if I sprung for a surf green guitar (matching headstock, rosewood fretboard, mint or parchment pickguard)! Not to derail from the color convo but how'd you like those SD mini humbuckers?Tweedledee wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 9:32 amI no longer have this one, but here's a Surf Green Jaguar for inspiration.

Had this one for a while until financial troubles made me sell it on- still miss it more than almost every other guitar I've had move on...
Charvel Surfcaster 12 in surf green/seafoam green/turquoise depending on where you look for 'official' info.

Also, to the point of your original post- there's a retro rock'n'roll band somewhere in Canada called Eddy and the Stingrays that all wear matching outfits/play matching surf green Charvel Surfcasters:

Almost forgot- I just picked up a Venus XII in surf green! Pic from the reverb listing:
It's sitting in the case waiting to be taken in for a setup about 5 feet from me right now!

Does sparkle count?
Seafoam green sparkle. It looks quite different in different lights, which I'm sure doesn't help in the surf vs. seafoam debate.

It may not help with the surf vs seafoam debate, but damn that's a beautiful finish!underscore ego wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 7:01 amDoes sparkle count?
