The jm!!!

A truly loud and resonant jm is a something that’s not overly common and is one of the best things in the world. So keep that in mind.

I hear you about the 9.5 vs 7.2, I’m with you on that one.
Tough call you have there I’d probably keep them both if that’s an option.

If you did all those mods to the Jazzmaster then you might as well keep it since the resale value is toast.

I'd probably keep the JM and have a better refin if I had to choose. However, I'd really try to keep both if at all possible until or if you clearly decide which one you really want to sell. The other possibility is that you might come across another guitar that you like better than either. I really like the look of Jaguars, but love the sound and feel of a good Jazzmaster!

Thanks for the comments everyone, I spent as much time as children allow playing this weekend. The Jaguar can’t go, I love it too much but I can’t really justify both.

I think I would miss the Jazzmaster neck more than the Jazzmaster itself, it’s the neck I really love. I have a nice Strat which has a very good Eric Johnson neck on it, but I may sell the EJ neck to get some cash and see what happens with the Jazzmaster body (whether I refin and keep it, part it out, just keep it or sell it as is.) currently strung the neck up for now anyway!

Anyway thanks all, the JM Jags are awesome guitars!
