NGD Any info on these?
<t>Okay so I’ve been off this forum and off offsets for a while but this pulled me right back in! It’s a Framus Golden Strato from 2013 which is essentially all I know plus some vague NAMM video info from the same time. Has anyone here had one, what’s you experience with it? Personally i love it, got it for 600$ Ish
The switching is fun, top horn is the pickups, and the lower switches are some weird jag like tone switches for the bridge and neck pickups last switch is for the big golden lever that enables “organ swells” (gotta love the deluxe 60s “features”)
(Don’t know if I understand how pictures work btw, if there’s a way to make it better let me know)

I wasn't aware of the reissues either... They look really cool! If they're as fun to play as the originals then they're awesome guitars!
Looking forward to hearing your impressions about the "pinky swell lever"... That's a really interesting feature, and something I would love to implement on some of my guitars!

On Imgbb, just copy the third link ― the one that says "BBCode" under "Full image (linked)" and paste it in the message box on OSG ― that's it. You don't need to add |img| tags as the link provided by Imgbb already includes them.

Re: NGD Any info on these?
Thanks for all the replies guys! (And helping me understand how photos work)
The pinky swell is weirdly fun, a bit out of reach and it gets in the way of the tremolo all the time but it’s the right kind of wonky!
The guy I bought it from told me that the pickups has been swapped for vintage ones and I’m inclined to belive him, because they sound great (and maybe mostly because there’s a lot of wax residue around the covers that I doubt are from the factory)
I don’t think they made many of these, mine is serial number 53 and online I’ve never seen any above 500.
Biggest downside is that my girlfriend thinks it’s really ugly.
sadly she can’t see the beauty of 60s German guitar design haha:)

Got it for about $600 you say?
If only there was a competition for ~$600 and under guitars on OSG with one spot left to fill...
