big like for me too...

Except...why do *almost* all the new guitars have narrow tall frets? I just don't like them.
Also was also never a big fan. But I honestly also do not like vintage frets so much. My old luthier here hated them and said they are like "falling down a ladder" :D

Damn, was just thinking that I should go after one of those champagne sparkle jags soon, now this.

Wonderful. Looks like another Europe only release. No idea why Chicago Music Exchange has been slacking on these latest FSR runs but between the CFM Jag and this, it is starting to piss me off.

Available to preorder in Andertons now for late July delivery: https://www.andertons.co.uk/squier-fsr- ... gJUKvD_BwE

Going to hold off to see whether any of the other shops start to take preorders. My recent experience has been some of the other shops have got models earlier than Andertons for some reason. Plus the likes of peach guitars actually take a look at them before shipping.

I just reached out to Chicago Music Exchange to see why they aren’t in on this deal. In the past all these FSR models were carried by them in the USA as well.

Ahh shit it has the extra block like the anniversary ones /: so definitely less cool but still, Pretty cool they’re doing this

And really I know at least one person who works at Reverb or CMI is reading this - how do I get them to do cool shit like this? If you did an FSR 70s Jaguar in LPB, even without a matching headstock, it’d sell out quick, guaranteed.

That’s gorgeous.
I just really don’t care for the laurel squire uses and the narrow tall frets.

But goddamn that is pretty.
Wish it was a vintera 60s FSR
like how tall because i want one of these but if i can't fret for shit on it there is no point in buying a squier when i can put together an MJT

I only played one CV besides my bass vi which is an entirely different animal, so it could’ve been a QC issue…..

Was VERY uncomfortable to me however, almost unplayable. Felt very tall, between that and the overly grainy laurel it was BAD.

And I have nothing against squiers…. I own a VM jag and I like it, as well as the mentioned CV VI.

I’d go for an mjt, he does such great work, and with a neck to your preferred specs man you can’t go wrong.

yeah i prefer skinnier necks so getting a neck/body from him and piecing it together is probably in my best interest.

When I checked a couple years ago, getting a B&B neck from MJT was impossible, drop shipping from Warmoth was the only option.

I don't dig the "relic ready" idea of a finish that's made to crack and chip, either.

Anybody ever ordered a guitar to the US from Anderton’s/anywhere in the EU and care to talk about it? I don’t mind paying the listed price but would lose patience if I’d expect to have to pay 30% extra for shipping or something dumb

I ordered my Bass VI from Anderton’s to the US a few months ago and it was great. Shipping was pretty cheap (£50 I think?) and it shipped DHL so came in like 4 days. Would absolutely order from them again. Since VAT gets subtracted too, I’ve found that it can sometimes even come out a smidge cheaper than buying from the US.

That's a fair price in 2022, I guess. Not sure if I'll preorder it. I always come back to my strat and my 2 vintage Jms, and sell all the other stuff again
