Ok, I'm in... (Although I lost count on the amount of entries  )

I present you (once again) the FinnEli Jazzmaster aka "The Chinamaster"
A tribiute to the Special late 60's/early 70's Maple neck Fender Jazzmaster.

Build from the finest stuff I could find on Aliexpress... ;D
(Muslady Jm Body, Maple black B&B neck, Various copy hardware, and a superb set of Tone Wizzard Pu's.
Some Tusq stuff (saddles and nut) and ofcourse a set of white witch hat's.

DIY 3 TSB paint job. Ton of work, but wel worth it, build during the pandemenic.
Became one of my favorite guitars in no time.

Total amounth spent on this one; € 350,- ish.

The guy I bought this from paid 600 at a flea market… does it count?

This is the only thing so far that I think definitely doesn't count. From your signature I assume it's vintage, in which case it's worth several times more than the limit. Even if it's one of the Japanese re-issues, that would still be comfortably over the limit.

How much did you pay for it?

PS - Beautiful guitar though. I'll try to do more of these vote competitions for as long as there's interest, so I'm sure you'll have a chance to enter it into something else.

Haha, I figured it wouldn't, but I thought I should still check. It is indeed vintage, it's from September of '69.

I would definitely be interested in more things like this though.

Right, seeing as we're only 6 short of 32, now opening it up to 2nd entrants.

Same rules as before, but if you've already entered one guitar, you can have one more.

weird that we both did 70's style jazzmasters during the pandemic almost separate from each other.

the idea behind mine was combine a 70's jazzmaster but if fender actually had money to spend on the JM during the 70's.

entry #27 (my second one)
Eastwood Sidejack Deluxe with some purely aesthetic mods. The Garage-Surf-Fuzz-Vibe is strong with this one!

#28 2006 Squier Jagmaster. Bought completely battered for $200. Refinished in ruby red sparkle. Raided the parts bin for a Wilkinson tremolo and a pair of Duncan Designed Jazz and JB pickups with coil splits. The was definitely a keeper, if not for me being a tick over 2m tall and not getting on with short scale guitars. Sold for $600

Would this qualify? I built it out of scraps. I have no idea what it would sell for.
