Well yes the black covers are a must, imho.

The build and all over quality of these is tops.
Though, that's ice blue metallic, not lake placid blue... right???

Still, I'm selling this one and getting an orange one from Andertons. We'll see what it adds up being in the end.

Wow, they are really pushing for this custom purple colour.
It's not my vibe but it looks cool with the matching headstock

Yeah I really don’t understand why they decided on that shade of purple, it looks so tacky to me…

I feel bad for CME since they have to carry all these purple guitars as well, and what makes this even worse is that if they wanted purple they could have just used burgundy mist metallic, which might be the best of the custom colours fender offers…

I think that shade of purple is awesome. What makes it tacky for me is trying to pair it with a tort guard :k A mint or black guard would've looked MUCH better, in my opinion.

Yep, that's terrible. I had the Jag and immediately put on a nice MOP guard, it looked HOT (but played like shit)

The CV 60's Mustang in Competition Orange is now at Chicago Music Exchange. On "sale" at $479.

I'm sure some Fender dealer in '64 looked at the new Duo-Sonic II and thought, "That's not a Duo-Sonic. That's a Mustang".

I've had mine now for a couple of weeks. It's a good nice solid guitar. But the neck on this one is definitely thicker than the one on my blue one!
