I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm sure they had a happy, well-loved life with you though. Any memories you'd like to share?
I'm just in shock right now. he was only 3 years old. He was acting totally normal last night. playing, eating, purring.... then this morning we found him lying in the middle of the floor. I remember hearing a weird noise at night but i just went right back to sleep. My best guess is he fell off a ledge that is above our staircase. He's done it a couple times before. i think he must have hit his head or something.
Our family loved that cat more than a pet. He was such a social and friendly cat.
fuck.
I am so, so sorry for your suffering. How awful.
Fuck is right

thanks for the sympathies guys. I do appreciate it.
We're slowly removing the cat stuff from the house, but seemingly everything reminds me of hm.
It's been a rough few days.

I'm so sorry for your loss MKR. When you have a pet that your family loves like that, losing them is so hard. Especially when it's sudden. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Take your time, be most excellent to yourself. Grief is hard. I'm so sorry for your loss.

It was out of the case for 2 minutes…
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Fantastic guitar, and a frantic cat doing what cats do best!

Would you consider getting another cat (when the time is right, of course)?

The gaping hole of a cherished pet can never truly be filled (I've had my fair share of feline heartbreak over the years) but, with time, I've always found the space in my heart is better filled than vacant and go and rescue another.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

They’re great cats. They like attention & are very vocal. They’ll sit on your lap if you’ve got a blanket. Don’t like being picked up. Always jumping onto high things & on my back when I’m not looking.
