Thanks everyone. What I was looking for was an easy way to put Jazzmaster-ish pickups in an HH Jaguar (which I do not yet have). Just looking for options.
Would it be possible and easier to just get a Jazzmaster and put a short scale neck on it?
I think that I would have problems with the fixed bridge not accommodating the 24" scale. I could put a 24.75" conversion neck on if I wanted to go that way.
Just fyi I’m pretty sure some Squier Jagmaster necks are 25.5” to 24” conversion necks - Been wanting to try it myself instead of gutting my Jaguar to get Jazzmaster pickups on it.

the later jag master necks aren't conversion necks, unfortunately. they're 21 fret necks, vs 22 in vista and jaguars, making them about 14/-3/8" too short to put in either Jaguar or Jazzmaster bodies. they're a bit peculiar.

Curtis Novak JM-HC Stealth and JM-WR comes also to my mind. I just dropped a set of JM-HC to my Jazzmaster. You can propably find some inspiration from this topic: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=117162
