If there was ever a post (I'm sure there must be others) that captures the essence of this forum, this is it. Wow! Loved it.
BTW, I do like these Starcasters. Dig the FCS too. Their offerings do trickle down to more affordable models (such as the '60s Baja ....)
Not every new offering from Fender can be another '52 Telecaster. But modern music, as we know it is inconceivable without Fender guitars .... And from where I'm standing, they are doing a pretty good job "mixing things up."
Looking forward to playing my Starcaster more. Thinking of putting TVJones Filtertrons in it, and giving the ES 335 a rest. It most definitely has a 1976 feel to it ....
