Damn, these are nice. Only knew of Spitfire doing these kind of guards before. Might have to get something made before demand/price go the same way.

Well you guys have went and done it! Your pictures of your Lavaguards looked so damn fine, that I had to order one myself! Thanks for that enablers :D I just got notice that my guard is on the way, so let's hope it doesn't take too long getting to Utah from the UK.

Some people seem to prefer the hyper-exaggerated Spitfire guards, but all of the lava guards I've seen look closest to the really nice, legit vintage Fender tort.

I inquired a few weeks ago and never heard back. Hopefully they resume.

edit: It seems my message slipped through the cracks and all is well.

This is my Johnny Marr Jaguar. I'm honestly so chuffed, I managed to get one from Paul from the last of his current sheets.

Any clue when he'll resume taking orders?

- ! Off topic ! -
I love the word chuff, and also the sound. I looooove that sound:

“to produce noisy exhaust or exhalations“

I think of horses, but also one of my cat pals chuffs occasionally. So one of his nicknames is “little chuffer.”

I didn’t realize it meant anus also until just now haha!

No, I don't know and didn't sense there was any particular time frame one way or another.

2 things:

1. OSG is a bad influence on me. I was fine with the tort on my Squier Jag until I saw how much more beautiful tort can and should be. I blame you all.

2. I just looked at the FAQ questions on lavaguards' site and it cracked me up:

'Will it guard me from actual lava?

No.'
