There is a toronado on that listing, and he says they are cut to order, so he might omit the switch hole...?

ordered a new pickguard for the guitar i've been calling rei toronado (let's see who can get all the different levels this reference is on... it's at least 3) also just rewired it up, moved the selector switch, added coil tap AND stuck graphtec saddles on it. i figured if it's replacing my main, i want it to be the best guitar it can be. i also ordered a sticker for it.
i'll post pictures of it as it sits, if anyone is interested but i'm still waiting on the guard.

I wasn't really picky about fretboards until Squier started rolling out the Laurels, and sadly I haven't seen a Toronado with a decent looking one. It just makes you feel like you're playing a very cheap guitar, with how dry and off-color they usually are. With the darker finishes of the Toronado specially they should've just dyed the fretboards dark and raised the price a bit.

yeah. i went for the slightly yellowed pearl over the fully yellowed or immaculate white pearl. i've had better luck with that look in the past. i can't really give it the beans till i'm out the casts BUT i'll tell you this, the thing sounds and plays as good as it looks now. i'm not super in love with the sound of split pickups BUT i'm mainly trying it so i'm not bringing 5 or 6 guitars to practice.

Re: DAMMIT Squier not another NGD!!! (Tornado)
Digged up the old Toro today to finally test and compare them one on one.
I actually prefer the neck (shape) of the Squier. Too bad it's so pale - shame on you Fender/Squier! I kinda seem to prefer the "harder" feeling fretboard of the Squier!
The pickups of both sound good, but the Fender ones are louder and bassier.
Nice how they copied the logo, too!
At the price they were throwing the Squiers out, this was the steal of the decade, I'd dare saying!
