Something about the colour combo rubs me the wrong way. The fade from blue to silver is kinda blotchy looking, and the black pickguard and headstock look like they'd suit the blue or the grey better if they were just a solid colour. Plus, you've got the strong blacks and deep sparkle finishes alongside an anemic looking laurel board. It's just kind of lacking visual cohesiveness and looks cheap, which isn't usually something I think about Squiers. They're usually as attractive as a Fender.
If this had a dark shoe-polished fretboard and a less blotchy burst, maybe it would work for me. I'm not expecting dark rosewood or ebony on a Squier but this colour is begging for a dark board IMO. I'd have been thrilled to see a richlite board on this, for example.
Maybe when we see real ones in the flesh, they'll look nicer. The real burst might be smoother and nicer than the photos. Those AmPro JMs looked pretty sharp in this colour, though I did prefer their look with the lighter guards they came with.

I think a mint pickguard and maple fretboard would suit the colour

Re: Squier Contemporary Jaguar HH ST
I've FINALLY seen some Contemporary Jags hit stores in Canada... one of my local shops were one of the lucky recipients! Already placed my order, going to have it in my hands either tomorrow or Monday. I have far more expensive guitars but this one seems to be spec'd just the way I like it, so I'm super excited!
