Huh. Is that Squire or everything they’re planning? Still hoping to see an AmPro2 Jaguar.

Sounds like Fender. I bet we don't see much for Squier until Summer NAMM, or whatever that turns out to be.

I know these won't be popular with everyone, but goddamn, I love these!
There's also a contemporary Tele:
And these rad Strats:
Chicago Music Exchange seems to be the first one to post them.

That Strat has the pickup layout from Ron Thorn's California Special. He offered it as his own model before the Fender Custom Shop hired him and he brought his design with him.
The Jags don't quite work for me despite having so many individual boxes ticked (jaguar, painted headstock, interesting finish). It's worth noting that the HH Jags have roasted maple necks - that's super cool.

I really like that trem on that Thorn strat though, seems rad.

This last Strat is basically the Strat I'd like to build (except I would have gone for a hardtail). Different finish, but this one is awesome/better.Steadyriot. wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:24 am[...]

Re: Squier 2021 line?
While I do like the look of the jag and a few others they still leave me a bit meh, I can't help thinking fender just need a shake up in the design department! Like Carlos Lopez is absolutely killing it in the custom shop with his designs and thorn!
I still think there's far to many series and still far too much emphasis on strats and tele's, these custom shop bridges and thorn designed trems are ace but not everyone can afford custom shop prices so why not do standardised versions of them for fender or squier and stop being lazy with the same stop bars on everything! The thorn trem in that jag would have been really interesting!
Also do interesting stuff, like re do the bass 5 as a modern short scale 5 string bass, they bring the shape back for a few hundred jarman basses so be more adventurous, do a shorter 2 pickup bass vi as a baritone in the way reverend has done the desent shorter so it isn't such a stretch! As much as I love the bass vi playing bar chords is a big stretch! and now Carlos has re done the original 12 string bridge let's see some affordable xii's with correct features!
I just feel there's so much fender could be doing like really interesting different designs that actually would offer something very different yet they just seen so lazy!

This is only the Contemporary series, the other series are yet to be announced/leaked, including the potential Paranormal.
