Second, it was really annoying to restring, like REALLY annoying.
How was it annoying to restring? Imo it has the smoothest and the easiest stringing solution of them all. 🤔

Anybody try ordering a panorama yet now that we have part numbers? Anyone even know how to go about ordering? Fender’s website sucks as far as figuring out who to even email, and I never heard back from them when I asked about getting the panorama before finding the serial number.
Try consumerrelations@fender.com. Also Darren Riley has always been good at communicating Fender parts availability. There seems to be a lot of parts that are only available to select retailers, and not advertised by Fender. Or maybe some vendors just try harder than others to get stuff out of Fender.

I found it difficult and fiddly to remove the strings and to put new ones in. They would frequently get stuck in the little slots especially when trying to remove the strings. Also I don't see how anything can be simpler than slotting a string through a hole... with the Descendant you need to use two motions to get a string in or out. Yeah, it's clever how he designed it to facilitate the lowered deck, but I dunno if I would say it's simpler.

A year after the release of the Am Pro II range the Panorama system is still not available as a spare part. I doubt it will ever be.

I wonder why they did not release an Am Pro II Jaguar with the Panorama...

No timeline given, but a little birdie told me that fender does plan on making the panorama available aftermarket…… figured I’d give you guys some hope.

That's reassuring. If it still comes in comfortably under a Mastery (having to ship it to the other side of the world) I reckon I'll try and pick one up.

Interesting. I remember enquiring about that, in the OG Descendant thread.

That is really great to hear. The Panorama is the last thing I need to make my Partscaster perfect.

There is now a listing on Darren Riley for the Panorama - shows as out of stock and does not include the arm - price is $160. Maybe he'll have them soon?

Are these a push in or screw in arm?

I recall them being push-in, it’s got a similar notch in the end as the higher end Strat trem arms. Yea, without the arm the trem is absolutely not worth that much at all. He had a pair of them for sale a few weeks ago too, but again, no arm. I wonder why he’s selling the trems with no arm, like why would you wanna seperate them? Or maybe he somehow acquired the trem unit without the arms, which is super weird.

I think it's because Fender sells them as separate parts. Most parts resellers seem to do this.

I don't know how long I spent trying to unscrew the arm until I realised it was a push-in one... :fp: and it required a decent tug to get out too
