There is?  Good, because I'm tired of trying to play every one of these at least once a day.  :P

Imagine myself dressed in woodland camo marpat pushing a wheel barrow
with a cozy blanket to the middle of the yard!

hehe, I adore the Ice twins. But ..the gold guard Jazzy outshines all the rest  :?

Thanks.  :)  I wasn't trying to hijack the thread too much, but I thought it was a funny idea that one couldn't collect and play guitars.

BTW, the gold-guard AVRI is my favorite guitar EVER.

I am really dissapointed that Charcoal Frost is not one of the colors.

I find it odd that our top choice during a poll I did here(Char Frost) doesnt make it and Aztec Gold that did not have one vote, make it, even though I may be interested in that color myself.

If you ever need to hurriedly give away guitars i'll have your IBM Jazzy and the Tele with the bigsby  :D How come i've never seen pictures of you playing either of those? They need love as well  :(

Targ wrote: Thats great! it's a rare thing now a days that you can pick up a guitar and honestly say its the best guitar you have ever played, and get to own it too.
With so many choices out there, did you get to Play it first? or was it just luck on a mail order? Is it a Jag or Jazz?
It's a Jazzmaster, and I played it first, a couple of times, in Vintage and Rare Guitars in London. The first time I played it, I was literally in the store for an hour and a half, just noodling away on this JM through a JCM 800. The second time, I played it for another 20 minutes (2 weeks later) and confirmed that I adored it. Then I bought it.

:)

FWIW, I don't believe in guitar collecting. Guitars are working instruments, for me, and I can't bear to even THINK of them as works of art to hang on the wall or keep in the case. But that's just me.

I took the Bigsby Tele to the gig last night, but it sat on the stand the whole time...I played my sunburst Jazzy all night.  ::)

*shakes head*

After all the hunting for an IBM Jazzy and it doesn't even get taken to gigs! If i was you i think i'd just rotate them every song just too look like a flash git. If your sets shorter than the amount of guitars you have (i'm sure its getting that way, when i joined here i'm almost certain you had a couple and within the space of a year you've tripled that  ;D) just switch during songs  :D

While it's true they are "instruments", mine are all, works of art.  8)
