Great player with some righteous clang in the tone dept.

That was my design. I took a Squier VM and reworked it. 6 string go to the string holder on top, and 6 strings go through the body. The Squier has basically no holes in it, so it was the perfect platform to mod.

Did the same thing with my Shecter Corsair 12- but put a Bigsby on the up-top strings.

It's a fun mod- now that I sold this one I'm eyeing some of my other 12ers for it.

This is my Scheckter TSH-12 and it is an exceptionally good guitar. It's made about as well as you can make a guitar, with a couple of minor, minor flaws. There's one corner of the binding in the sound hole that isn't quite right and the logo on the headstock is pretty cheap compared to the rest of the guitar. It plays great, sounds great and I can't stop playing "Ticket to Ride" every time I pick it up. A fantastic guitar; not just for the price, but a fantastic guitar.

Schecter has really gotten their act together over the last 5 years or so with the 12ers- starting around the time the Stargazer was introduced. Anything older than that (including the original TSH-12s) was terrible. While the build quality was great, I was still a bit unhappy with the pickups on the Corsair 12- I'm curious how those lipstick-buckers (both on the TSH12 and the Wayne Hussey sig model) compare to the dull & lifeless Duncan Designed humbuckers that come standard on the Stargazer and Corsair.

That's good to hear. I always thought they could do good work, but made (for me) bizarre aesthetic and design choices. (Wheter too 'old rocker" or too much time spent at the Viper Room). I briefly had a CSH12 and it was not a good match. (But I'm shallow).

i saw one of these in dark green with a black pick guard...beautiful!

it was sold, however.

i had an Italia Rimini...nice little guitar. i also had a Ric 620 12...a classic beauty!

i know have one of the cherry sunburst danelectro 12s. it is perfectly good for what i need.
If I was a byrd, I'd be mighty sore every time they shut the door and I don't think I'd sing...

The guitar is currently selling for $699 and the case adds something like $120 to the price. I think this is very fair given the quality of the construction.

You're not shallow. The CSH-12 was a straight-up turd. Ugly semi-hollow superstrat that wouldn't stay in tune long enough to make it to the chorus of any song. Blech.
