I would be in if a slot would be available and if they could ship it to France...
Have you figured out what shipping and customs would be to Europe yet? And to everyone: how much would the neck itself be with the headstock and blocks/binding? (I guess you have figured that out by now? ::)
I'm just knee deeps in my upcoming Top-Bound Jag project - but as this seems like a once in a while chance - I'm curious...
Start a Strat neck build on their site, and you can make it how you like and see the total before you hit checkout. I'm not sure about shipping/customs. Email them. They've been super helpful to me.

As of 3 hours ago, he said there were 5 total necks in. With 2fLAz and Peso now, that will be 6.

This is one of the best accomplishments in recent OSG memory. Thanks for helping me make a dream come true, everyone.
Are peso and 2fla taking a half neck each?

Sorry, don't get the math.. 🤔
Sorry man, little mistake.... I'm sure you've made one. Are you getting a neck or just posting to point out an irrelevant mistake?...
Yeah, just pointing an irrelevant mistake, but wasn't looking at it that way. I just wasn't understanding where the math was coming from.

Not sure i understand the hostility?

No hostility, I hit the 6 which is next to 7, it appears. Or just did a brainfart addition at work. There is no limit on how many necks we can have, so it just seemed odd you'd post just to point that out when it was irrelevant. Thanks for pointing it out though. If you need a neck, hop in. Got tons of time.

Actually I think that the tip should be a little more rounded and the top left edge (nearest the low E tuner) could come to a sharper point. Using this photo for refrence: Image

Edit: also the bottom tip (bottom pointed edge of the swoop) should come down at a slightly sharper angle.

You guys have probably seen this, but Dave talks about and shows his Marauder II prototype in the below interview. At approx 43:20 he’s holding the guitar and you can briefly see what the headstock looks like from a few angles:

Agreed! I'm woking on some edits now. One thing to keep in mind WRT that phot of the prototype is that the headstock angle is not perfectly top down and square.

Anyone know where to find the 6 in line version of the tuners that were posted in this thread? The only ones I can find are 3+3 style.

I'd also settle for plastic buttoned F tuners, but I can't seem to find those either.

Aw man, were the Grover's I linked wrong? I almost bought them too. Shi! They won't work?

OMG! I hadn't seen that video before. It's so useful. Aside from headstock details, it also looks like the pickups are not in covers and open, more like Tele pickups. They look very little like Jag pickups in that video. Anyone have more information on what those might be?

For reference, here's the image I traced originally for the first prototype headstock design from Musikraft.

And here's some additional angles from the YouTube video:

Based on this and analyzing the differences between my original sketch and the first Musikraft design, I'm going to make some edits and get these to N0_Camping4U tomorrow morning. There's at least three things that need to be tweaked. Stay tuned!

Wow, never seen these close up shots before.

I think the top carve bit of the musikraft swoop needs to transition more smoothly into where the tuners are.

I've never seen those modern Grover tuners in a 6 inline version. Only 3x3. The 'f' versions of those Grovers that Fenders used for the Marauder prototype and on Coronados in the 60's came in six inline version, but they are super rare and relly expensive now ($400-$600 / set from what I see on Reverb and ebay). I was thinking of buying 2 sets of the 3x3s and then hooking up somone who is a lefty or likes reverse headstocks. Seems a bit wasteful but still way cheaper than getting the vintage ones.
