good to see this joining the family! i saw one at NAMM when it was announced, i played it and was impressed. i was considering buying one, but it was enough like my original 1959 JM, that there wasn't much point - other than the black pup covers on the gold guard, which was almost irresistible (my '59 has tort). it definitely suits the vibe of the earliest JM's!

i never saw one in the wild anyway, and i had already gotten that guard/pup combo on a custom-order Doheny as influenced by the '58.

i like the darker dots - you said 'clay' as if they're not clay. they do look different than most clay i've seen, but it's definitely better than the standard white. do you know what they used?

cheers and may the honeymoon rock on!
