Has anyone seen pics of the Dakota or LPB large headstocks yet? I've been trolling the Reverb listings but haven't seen any.

I'm curious as to how many people will order one pictured with the correct headstock but actually get one of the 2.0 ones from residual stock
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

I don't care for blocks or big headstocks, but it's cool that they finally got the details right.

This is why I only order from shops that show pictures of the exact guitar you're going to get (and shame of shames... list the weight) - the color of rosewood is too variable these days. Like the lighter weight sunburst AVII from Eddie's... the rosewood looks a little too streaky for my taste in close up shots that aren't flattened by the lighting. For $2500 I want my ideal guitar aesthetically (except for the need to replace the awful Fender tort with Spitfire).
Ideally I'd be able to buy one off the rack but I haven't seen a non-Squier Jazzmaster locally since before the pandemic.

Well, that's made it all the harder to not want one of these.

Man, I know it. It’s a lot of money to spend on 2 guitars. At first I said I didn’t care about the headstock mishap. And I didn’t. But these just look Soooooo much bettersimonhpieman wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 5:33 pmWell, that's made it all the harder to not want one of these.

This Jazzmaster is literally everything I could ever want in a Jazzmaster outside of an actual vintage one. When the Jags, come out, it will be the same way.

The pearloid on that blue JM looks so nice. Love that they listened and fixed the headstock!

I belong to the minority of people here who prefer the small headstock version of the lake placid blue model. I am about to post something in the wanted section.

Those blue ones are going to look *chefs kiss* after 20 years of playing and yellowing.
I might struggle to resist a Jag when it comes

Fender may have always planned to use the correct headstock shape but just wanted to work their way through the stock of neck blanks they had leftover from the AO line.
These looks absolutely gorgeous and make me very excited for the Jags. A LPB Jag with B&B would be bucket list material

Oh man, I’d love a nitro LPB Jag or JM with any shaped headstock in left handed.
Hoping the new Japanese line does lefties at least.

I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?
