Those are really really good guitars - or at least the one that I got last year was (light relic faded sonic blue). A really nice set of specs and with the strong dollar - 'relatively' inexpensive.
My experience with them was really good tbh.

Lee Ranaldo used to slap together Jazzblasters on the cheap. Now they come from the CS for 5K.
I wonder what Lee would have to say about it?
I dig the purple and the chartreuse ones. Too much scratch for my liking, but they do look good (besides the tasteless relic work).

What’s the 10” radius like?

Dude, I know. It’s so pretentious. Like, sometimes I can tolerate it. Danocasters are cool to me. But it kills me 9/10 times. Especially on these expensive guitars. I do have a closet clean finish from MJT which is mildly aged (or not perfect). However it has aged rapidly on its own.

I have a relic P bass but I can't stand relic sparkle finishes. Maybe because I've never seen an old, banged up sparkle guitar.
Anyway forget about the relic bashing, how do they get away with calling that shade of rosewood dark?

It might be the lighting they've used but I agree it's not particularly dark. My 2021 AO Tele has rosewood so dark I thought it might be ebony at first! It puts that rosewood to shame really.

I like this one a lot personally. Relics usually bother me but the wear on this one feels just right.

Well - They do make these in NOS and Light/Journeyman as well, but ehhh... relics jobs are hit and miss and have been done to death. Interesting note though - Last I heard Relic/Heavy Relic were the most sold guitars in the FCS lineup.

Good - Barely noticeable with a good set up honestly. The difference between 9.5 and 10 is millimeters. My only issue with with a 10" is that is limits the bridge options. Staytrem in my preferred but the slight difference does bug me a bit, and the other options have the 2x3 saddle design which also bugs me a bit, but in the end a Mastery won out.
I did try and get a RSD bridge that they put on the Wildwood 10's Jazzmasters but.... Good luck with that (side note: when did those explode in price?).
Anyway - I am a big fan of the one I got. I had the guy I was working with compare 3 or 4 that they had and got his observations (which were pretty spot on). Its a great playing and sounding Jazzmaster and an excellent complement to the FCS L series Jazzmaster that I have.

As much as you might think it's dumb, that's just your opinion. The vast vast majority of CS guitars have some degree of relic/wear and actually, you're in the minority. They make them like that because people buy them.
The relic hate is beyond tired at this point. Set aside the fact that modern formulations and most people who are able to buy expensive nitro finished guitars won't live long to see any true ageing. They have a place.

They made some NOS for people (like me) that prefer non-relic guitar. They are also less expansive. They made one in Taos Turqoise, that is a quite rare and nice color.
I dont really care/hate reliced guitar. I just dont like paying more for a relic job.

I think that regardless of our personal opinions on relicing in general, we can all agree that the relic job on these particular guitars is pretty awful.
