You got me Googling there, and I found out it was indeed the Big Muff on "Lithium". Do we know if it was the standard Pi or another version (i.e. Op Amp like Mr Corgan?).
Supposedly an Op Amp. I’d guess it was lower gain boosted with a tubescreamer or something as it’s not quite as dirge-y as that Smashing Pumpkins sound.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

PS: I presume you mean the Small Clone (small version of the Clone Theory chorus), rather than the Small Stone.
Yes, sorry, mistype there. Definitely meant to write Small Clone. Will edit
Probably force of habit, or predictive text!

Oh right, I do the same to try and give it some mids! Was Billy's his own or Butch's? Not saying, but it'd be cool if it were the same pedal used on Siamese Dream!

Hi all,

Was wondering if anybody has any opinions on the 2021 Fender Jag-Stang reissues?

I am kind of looking for a humbucker offset to complement my Jazzmaster and a deal has come up for a like-new Fiesta Red for around USD900.

Have always wanted a Fiesta Red offset and am a huge Cobain fan, so even though he didn’t play it much, just the idea that he designed it is rather cool.

Would it be a good buy for 90s Alt-Rock style? And are there any mods that needed to be done? As more $ would be kinda pushing the limit in what I would want to invest in a new guitar.

Thanks
Do you ever try the Kurt Cobain Jaguar? It's a beauty... Just got one (although needs a set-up).
Hey there, i ended up with the fiesta red jag-stang shortly after posting, not the jaguar though.

It is an interesting guitar and strung with 12s it is totally solid with no mods needed (if you like pickups that is)

However, next time i change strings am considering putting 500k pots in to try and make the bridge a bit brighter.

Does know how long Fender will be producing this run? Might pick up another one in sonic blue if i am able to get a good deal again.

Congrats on the Jag-Stang. How's that humbucker working out? Getting to know the DiMarzio Super Distortion in my Jag.

I hated the look when I first saw it. I wound up playing one and found it extremely comfortable. They’re great if you’re of smaller stature or have smaller hands. I just recently picked one up when the red ones were on sale for $700. I’m enjoying it. I would encourage you to play one before you write it off. Reminds me of a girlfriend of mine. Small in the waist and big on the top and bottom.

Lol I actually just moved it on as part of a trade deal on a Gretsch Penguin. It was nice to have but I just preferred playing my Jazzmaster more and It also didn’t really have a “signature” sound of sorts, so apart from nostalgia there wasn’t many reasons to keep it.

I find it amazing to see these things on the wall at my local stores for $1700CAD when up until recently you could hardly give away an original from the 90's.

They were unpopular in the 90's and I'm not sure why Fender thinks they'd be popular now. Kinda like how they reissued the Supersonic and already I've seen dealers trying to blow those out too (again).
