There's one at Lidgett's Music in Council Bluffs, IA.

Or there was yesterday!

I like the colour. Not in the market for a JM Jag, but I like this colour. That is all.

i have a first year production KO and a sherwood. they do play and sound differently tho.
I'm curious what the differences are.

only thing is i just discovered there seems to be a loose connection in the 3rd and 4th pickup positions, as it went mute a few times.
My white one was the same; loose wire and easy to fix. Hopefully yours is easy to fix, too!

Compare the colour of his hands in the shots of the 'yellow' vs the 'orange' one. (1st & 2nd photo. The 3rd one is some pink guy) In the 'yellow' one he may as well be a Nazgul, they're so pale.

Yeah the white balance definitely looks off in the first pic

The neck on my sherwood is a tad chunkier and overall feels heavier when wearing it. i'll weigh them sometime to compare. The tone is also a little bassier so I'll tend to tune it to drop D or E flat when i'm messing around. To me, they're different guitars aside from the obvious color.

Thanks, I'll take the pickguard off and see where the loose wire is. Hoping it's an easy fix too. I'm liking the feel of it.

Thank you for the comparison...interesting that they feel/sound like totally different guitars!

The loose wire on mine was in the pickup selector switch. Just remove the chrome cover that the switch is attached to for access. Maybe it is in the same place...

Wow! I'm really impressed with this guitar! It's almost up to a Custom Shop level IMO for half the price. The tuning stability, even after just slamming the vibrato, is the best I've come across. Also the pickups are so quiet. I was expecting this to have a ton of hum. Love the finish too. Really stoked and for a sure a keeper for me. Mine came almost perfect for set up right out of the box. I just lowered the action a bit. I also ran some micro mesh over the back of the neck to remove some lacquer. It was a bit sticky for me. I really prefer a matte finish back there.

LOL!

I actually met him a few weeks ago backstage at a Killers show. Nicest guy ever! Actually wanted to know about me. Where I'm from, what bands I listen too, what guitars I play. Perfect English gentleman.

I met him at a meet and greet during teh promo tour just after the release of the Marr Jaguar. He was polite, humble, gracious. I was able to ask a couple of questions in the Q&A and we talked about it a little further while he was signing a pickguard. He encouraged me to go with 11's since that what he designed the guitar for....

He’s clearly wrong though. Everyone knows 10s are perfect on a Jag.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?
