Any news on lefty models?

Expecting same three models for the last 20 years… 50s strat in sunburst & white, 60s strat in sunburst & white, 52 Tele in butterscotch
According to the Italian retailer I linked to above, the '51 Tele, '57 Strat (all colours) and '61 Strat (all colours) are available in left-handed, plus the '66 Jazz Bass (all colours).
Ah sorry, didn’t click on the link! Cheers

Well, a sea foam green strat & jazz are an improvement, I suppose :'(
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Good news for sure...I'll be holding out for more interesting colours on the JM though before I'm tempted
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

The dakota red option piques my interest but honestly would rather have a pre-65 model to get an unbound neck. Oh well!

I was hoping for seafoam green or fiesta red for the jazzmasters, but dakota red is interesting me regardless.

Will sse what they look like, no doubt more info and pics to come in the next few days.

Are there any pics of the dakota red JM on these sites that leaked the new line?

Not yet (and I've been searching!)

The Dakota Red JM and LPB 70s Thinline Tele (w/ CuNiFe WRHB) are the most exciting of the bunch for me.

I wish there were Jaguars, but maybe they're giving them a rest after the 60th anniversary run. Hopefully they'll follow in a year or two.

So the AmVint II Jmaster has correctly sized blocks (huzzah!), but it has the WRONG headstock shape. It should have the larger CBS headstock to be vintage accurate. Another lost opportunity by FMIC. :fp:

Yeah that's a big disappointment and judging by what has been posted so far, the guitar will be too similar to my AV65 for me. Hoping this gets changed in time for launch.

I was curious about that too.

Besides Blocks - very little difference between the 65 and 66 model.

It could be a typo on the link i saw - but "Pure Vintage 66 jazzmaster pickups"

I’ll be honest. Blocks are enough. They’re on the right track. Yeah, not sure why the choice of wrong headstock shape.

So, what are the colors? I didn’t see them except Sunburst

And I so wish there were a jag. The botched it with the anniversary I think with wrong size blocks etc…now they have the right size blocks and aren’t producing it.

As bad as I want one, I have 2 JMs now and only really could justify a big purchase on a Jag at this point

I mean, does it need to be an exact replica of a guitar from a specific year? I never quite got the frustration there. My AVRI probably isn't really the same as whatever year they associated it with, it's just a good guitar made in the older style.

I'm sure these will be great guitars and it's nice to see Fender keeping the vintage type guitars alive.

Considering that the "American Originals" had the modern neck radius, this is a clear step forward.

(I think I'm going to start a dedicated thread about these guitars.)
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Exactly. I might end up buying a Tele, or even a strat, just to have proper vintage style guitar.

My offsets are mij, forgotten what it’s like to play a neck that doesn’t have a thick coat of poly on it.

These are exciting news. Finally correct looking blocks! Looking forward to the colors (and probably Jaguars in the future)!

Aye I think there’ll be an AmPro 2 and one of these AV 2 versions released at some point. The 60th Anniversary being released just a wee bit ago, they’re probably just spacing it out a bit.

Edit, Jaguars, I mean.
