Where to find a factory CIJ pickguard?

Post by sa1126 » Fri Jul 01, 2022 9:43 am

I have a 90's CIJ jazzmaster that I set up with a gold WD pickguard in the interim while I was trying to find a real anodized aluminum one. I was trying to scan the pickguard on the copier at work to send to a member here but covid hit and we lost our office space and I think it got lost in the move.

Does anyone know where I can buy a factory CIJ fender jazzmaster pickguard in brown tort?

You best bet would be to buy a used one. MIJ and CIJ pickguards vary from year to year, so finding an import style pickguard that fits your guitar without any modifications might be a but tricky

The WD ones are usually MIJ correct and often use the same materials, maybe the same manufacturer.

I'd suggest the same for AllParts. They look 'OK' for brown tort.
