60th Anniversary Jaguar (thread locked, went off the rails)
So, I've heard rumblings that a picture of a block neck, CAR Jag with matching headstock was posted somewhere on the facespace with the title "60th Anniversary Jaguar" before being hastily removed.
Any know or see anything? If it's got the trem in the right place (unlike the 50th Ani version) I'm in there like swimwear!

I can confirm. The inlays were shark fin, headstock reversed, baritone scale neck, Floyd rose, and yes! A 14 to 20 compound radiused neck just like the 60s. Cannot believe Fender pulled through for us.
It’s going to be a limited batch of 800,000.

Re: 60th Anniversary Jaguar
I think the comment in other thread states the colours are mystic dakota red and mystic lake placid blue...so a slightly modern blingy take on the colours.

I know that's a joke, but that actually sounds cool in its own way. Metal guitars seem to be overwhelming super-strats. It would be interesting to see a super-jag.Unicorn Warrior wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 2:46 amI can confirm. The inlays were shark fin, headstock reversed, baritone scale neck, Floyd rose, and yes! Yeah it's a bit frustrating. However, I don't think we will be waiting long as the leaks are starting to happen all of a sudden at the same time. Over on TDPRI today somebody said they were given a few details of new telecaster models coming.
Cannot be a coincidence these leaks are coming out around the week leading up to when namm would have been.

For sure. Kinda hoping for more colour options than Red or Blue...bit of a cop-outDavidG wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 5:15 amYeah it's a bit frustrating. Unless they're saving the better colours for the AV-whatever that's coming next?

Not gonna lie, that'd be close to my dream guitar. The contemporary Jag scratches that itch but it would be awesome if Fender ever went all the way.Unicorn Warrior wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 2:46 amI can confirm. So all the info is at the Fender Dealer Site? Well it’s says that they will be releasing them in March so maybe no January announcements after all.

These are rad. Really can’t wait to see that blue Jag.
Also wondering if the Meteora will have other pickup configurations since this one is specifically labeled “Meteora HH”

Looks promising. Interested to see what an Ultra Luxe Jag brings to the table....also looks like it comes in black
Well done Phil for getting the screenshots!
