Those do look great!

Huh... ten years ago, I would've been falling all over myself for a blonde or 2TSB body. And at that price-point?!
Kids today!

Squier needs to stop already, they're just making way too many gorgeous offsets.

Hard to tell from the Thomann pics if the white blonde finish is actually transparent, so I found some other pics. It appears so.

I have the same CVJM as you and as soon as Herad had gold JM guards back in stock I'm jumping on one. I'm thinking of going silver -skirted Dumble knobs for the controls though.

Posted this in the comp stang thread since they came out at the same time. Way more interested in what squier does rather than fender lately.

They actually seem to be trying new things (even if it's only different color schemes), plus the quality and pricepoint of a Squier makes it hard to beat. I love the slightly transparent white body on these new ones but I'm not huge on that gold pickguard. Changing it out for a mint one (and even adding a few other mods/upgrades) would still be far less than getting anything stock from Fender.

Why does the blonde look blue to me?

It’s the dark grain peeping through the wood that’s giving it a darker appearance. It’s not uncommon for blondes to have those kinds of hues

The blue comes from the grain filler used to seal the body. It's all over 50s ash bodied Fenders and I'm pretty partial to the look myself. Reminds me of cheese.
