Feature Request: Email Preview of Body of PMs

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, Todd don't shoot.

Is it possible to when receiving an email notification of a received OSG PM to not only receive a preview of the subject but also of the body of the message? This is helpful in many ways. I usually use badges to remind me of things i need to read/reply to. So if i click on it to see if something is urgent, i have no reminder to go back to it at a later date.

You run a tight ship, that's for sure. But my comment was more in jest than in earnest.
I guess it's easy to get annoyed when it's your job to regulate and you get countless people who can't follow what feels like simple constraints and guidelines. I know it's all in love and order, however. And come on. With that lovable mug as your avatar, how can anyone stay mad at you

At the risk of sounding defensive, I hope I'm not being too hard on people. I'm a little sensitive to how close we got to losing Misc Discussions, and OSG altogether, and want to make sure it never gets that bad again. Trying to enforce the new rules fairly is difficult but (I think) necessary to help ensure this place continues to exist in its current form.

I certainly apologize if I've been heavy handed.

I've not found you to be heavy handed at all. OSG flew a little too close to the sun, and I left for a while when it did. I think you've found a balance.

Besides, if something was in the wrong place, you'd just move it, not delete it or ban the poster like some toxic forums would.

That makes a lot of sense with the Icarus analogy. Nothing has been harsh but maybe short at times. Again PLEASE DON'T READ BETWEEN THE LINES. I'm not trying to suggest anything. You're not being defensive, you're trying to understand. I think protective is a much better word. It was meant as a cute joke: you're really all good. Don't let this shake your confidence or deter you. Just an observation as it use to be more like the wild west here (talking 2013/2015) and now you do a much more thorough job of keeping things tidy, which i appreciate. So nothing wrong with... man, now i'm becoming defense. haha

Todd listen. Your bullets are blanks, and your gun is fake like the one to Ringo's head. This isn't a rebuke but an observation in differences. Carry on, man. And see if you can get those subject and body previews. All is good man, no malice or condemnation, you're all good!
