Re: OSG site slow to respond?
15 to 30 seconds to load every page or action really lets the air out of the internet tires.

I'm still going back and forth with them. I'll post updates as I have them.

Noticed problems with site not loading recently
Anyone else been experiencing this in the past week?
Basically takes several minutes to resolve to the homepage.

Site is painfully slow on desktop. Unuseable on mobile for me.

It's actually OK for me at the moment, but the fact that it's so many of us via so many different service providers makes me think that if it's not local to the server itself then it's local to the server colocation, within a hop or two of the colocation, or a non-local asset that's part of the initial site load.einpresstiefe wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 7:12 pmSite is painfully slow on desktop. It was mostly OK with intermittent slow loads for me for the past week - until today. Actual timeouts now.GilmourD wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 3:59 amIt's actually OK for me at the moment, but the fact that it's so many of us via so many different service providers makes me think that if it's not local to the server itself then it's local to the server colocation, within a hop or two of the colocation, or a non-local asset that's part of the initial site load.einpresstiefe wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 7:12 pmSite is painfully slow on desktop. Re: OSG site slow to respond?
Been the same way for me for days now, it might behave totally normally for five or six clicks, and then the next two are either taking 15 seconds or timing out completely.
I've taken to copying the text of every post just to make sure I can paste it back in if it times out after hitting "submit." It's the only way to be sure I won't lose it.

Re: OSG site slow to respond?
Throughout the last days/weeks I experienced long loading times from 30 to 180 seconds for loading a site or the „new posts“ rider.
Hope it can be fixed soon!

Re: OSG site slow to respond?
Looking at the bright side... As frustrating as the long loading times are, at least OSG is still online. Last time it was down I swear I had withdrawal symptoms
