don't normally like black guitars unless they are rickenbackers (sorry Yannis) but I am very impressed with this colour combination
relaxing alternative to doing actual work ...

His was originally a light maple 325 and he painted it black himself... from what I've read. He bought it in Germany during the Silver Beetle years and later on, as they achieved success, Ric presented him with a true black 325 prior to their appearance on the Ed Sullivan show. I'm not sure, but I think George was given a Ric at that time as well.Didn't Lennon play one? or was his painted black later on?
