Thanks (I think), I assume the hilarious part is the absurd doubleneck that somebody cobbled together. It had to be repaired!

I reached out to Riggio Guitars in the past but followed-up this week with no reply.

Joe's Sherwood Green is the most accurate I've seen anywhere and that's a color that many people can't seem to get right.

But I have a short list of other suggestions from people (or from my personal experience), such as Starr guitars in Florida and Protocaster in Virginia. Hoping to send this guitar off soon, to get that process started, or at least get in the queue.

Thanks so much for asking. I am still beyond capacity, but will likely be taking in new work in late March. I have not catalogued all of the NOS colors yet, but there are quite a few Blue Metallics. We can re-visit that later, if you choose to have me do a finish for you.

Cost is $935 for a body, including stripping, re-finishing and aging. The NOS Lacquer is a $150 option.

I contacted Joe in mid January. He said he will have openings in LATE March. He's VERY Expensive. I asked about a custom dark metallic blue with his huge lot of NOS Lacquer he got. I know he has greens, I'm sure you've seen the video he did with M&M Guitar Bar? Here's the two emails I got back from him. He seems like a really cool and nice guy. His work is obviously amazing.

I can vouch for Protocaster - Josh does killer work, he did my casino refin and knocked it out of the park. Bummed he's not in Brooklyn anymore, was hoping to be able to bring him more stuff in person and maybe pick up some painting tricks from him,oh well.

Whenever I asked Joe for a quote on refinishing the casino, he told me like $1800 or some wild number, maybe that's because of the binding/neck finish/ prepping a hollowbody? I was shocked cause it was only a thin clear coat it had to begin with, so I went with Josh and was really satisfied with the work he did. Good to see these other numbers provided are a bit more reasonable. Maybe reach out to Danocaster too?

Whatever you end up doing, it's gonna look badass. Stoked to see this one come to life.
