Top notch content.
The thread title made me imagine someone cleaning out their fridge and raiding their junk drawer to make a guitar.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Will could turn a fridge full of leftovers into an awesome guitar. He is that good!
But yeah, another riveting repair thread - yet again fixing something that most people would consider being unfixable.
Love it!
J.

Where there's a Will, there's a way.
I bow down to your skill, Master.

I was off with my tuner hole calculations, so I needed to drill them out and dowel them again:
25 dowels, and it is looking kinda Jaguar-like again:

I got a good deal on some Jazzmaster/Jaguar parts - from the tiny picture it looked like one of the claw screws had broken off, so I was worried that the broken screw would need to be carefully drilled out.
When the package arrived, I found out that the screw was just in BACKWARDS! Why?!?

Sometimes people put them in upside down when the screw top is dragging on the top of the screw head. Maybe they were only having that problem with the thicker E and A strings? It worked out great for you!
I love seeing these poor parts get love and reuse.

Yep. I'm assuming I'll have to do that same thing with the screws on the trem of my Coronado project.
I won't know until I get the body back.

Jeez, will, you've really done it again. It's utterly unrecognizable. You're the true Dr. Frankenstein of the forum. How much lightning was involved in this process?

Man, what a wizard. It's impressive and inspiring to see something like this brought back to life. How's that pine body working out? Is it fairly light? Mostly curious how it's playing/feeling now that it's done. That LPB/B&B is a dream combo too, btw.

I'm not an expert on describing electric guitar sounds, but strumming, it does sound nice and bright.
Also, it's rather lightweight for a Jaguar - 7lbs 10 oz. My other Jaguar is 8lbs 10 oz.

frick, man.
my favorite part is the work on the nut/rosewood.
It's a good solution to a pretty tragic misstep.
i love stuff like this.
(Christopher, also)
I've been to one World's Fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing i ever heard come out a pair of headphones.
