I don't know that I've ever directly compared bone and Tusq, or graphite, or plastic or anything really.  I certainly don't have a preference.  I figured I'd try the Tusq and since I ordered it in special, I'm gonna use it, dammit! :P

hmm... the "genuine" Fender Bone nut is genuine.....plastic......
