Maybe we’re looking at this the wrong way - I’d bet that the Naugahyde back means there is little to no wear on the belt buckle from the guitar.
except there is when you click through the pictures...worst of both worlds!

"Finally, this has a snap-on back protector. I’m pretty sure that Fender offered that as a factory option..."
this can't possibly be true, can it?

Back in the early 90’s, a local shop had a ‘63 JM that had small filled holes spaced about an inch apart running the perimeter of the back of the body (no doubt the result of one of these improvised rash guards). With the exception of the holes and the body being stripped, it was otherwise original with white case. I turned it down for $600.

Oooooooo I love that Coronado very much. Like veeery much. I'd change 3 things : those ugly tuners, those ugly knobs and at least 2.4k off of original price.
And then i would play it very much.

He made that baby from the coolest parts he could get his hands on
What a heap of crap. It's not like it looks a bit rough but has been done really well or anything, it just looks like... a couple of bits bolted together with some unnamed p90 knockoffs, some chinese tuners...

Those villager necks float around for pretty cheap, I've always wondered if you could build something out of those that would actually intonate.
This ain't it, though. It isn't even worth the sum of its parts.

Just his misspelling/misuse of the word "whole" is enough to garner a spot in this thread. Jeez.
