The trajectory of this thread is basically such that in 6mos people will be screeching hysterically about the desecration of a holy artifact over the presence of a mastery bridge and a sticker on a sunburst AVRI from 1999.

I get the feeling you're basing this statement on the last handful of posts.

Look back a page or two & I'm sure you'll change your mind :)

Please look at the photos so you know where the relicing was done.

This is really bad. The "relicing", the Fender decal on a Harley Benton neck, the description...

Looking at it again, I even think that the gap between bridge and pickguard looks strange.
I guess this is a Harley Benton TE-30 BE with an aftermarket pickguard, Fender Tex Mex pickups and a badly applied decal. The best parts should be the pickups. If the seller isn't simply selling an empty package with the whole monstrosity ;D

The guitar costs 119€ at Thomann: https://www.thomann.de/de/harley_benton ... itarre.htm

I don't know what you're all laughing about, that guitar was clearly played for 1000 years by a man who doesn't own a belt.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

Ok it is the Harley Benton TE-30 BE. The same seller offers the pickguard and pickups this came with: https://www.ebay.de/itm/2x-New-Harley-B ... 5582145288

"Good Klang" ;D

Well, have you seen the prices of 1999 AVRIs lately? :-/

I don’t understand why people are doing this. Who goes on stage with that thing thinking they look cool?

Just got it. And I was thinking Twilight Zone but knew it was wrong. My wife said something about dementia earlier today when I (mistakenly) commented I hadn’t eaten anything all day…. Maybe she was onto something. Damn 50s…

As an Irishman myself this reeks of some opportunist ''luthier'' tricking the stereotypical gullible American tourist chasing their alleged roots into buying this monstrosity on the promise that it'll give them goodwill and the ''luck of the Irish'' when they take it back to the promised land of America :D
