I'd say that was a refin on the headstock, judging by this sloppy job...
Ah, yes! Looks like a refin for me also...
The seller wrote immediately back.
He said that if it would be all original it would be a lot over 10k.
He offered me 4699€..
But I told him that this is unrealistic and definitely too much for a partsjaguar, and that calling it "custom guitar" it simply makes it nicer in the description.
I told him that really under 4k is realistic maybe.
I wished him good luck with his business.
Told him also that the headstock looks like a refin.
Yeah
I’m surprised nobody has mentioned the most offensive part of this dogshit, the wackass trem spacing. Is it just me or is that even closer than the typical closer spacing Fender uses? Did they even do a 50th anniversary in CAR? P sure that’s just a classic player body, and that’s ridiculous.
$4,000 is beyond unreasonable here. If that neck is real then what, maybe $1500-1700? Shits gross
The seller made me another offer about 4.4k. He seemed a bit intrusive, he asked me again and again...
I did not replied after he didn´t answered my question for the maybe refinished headstock...
The seller has got a few more guitars like this for sale...
It starts... when it begins.

“Heavily modified” according to the description.
At least the neck pickup route is in good condition.

I can’t decide if I’d have been tempted at that price. I know for sure I never want to smell another cigar as long as I live though.

Ditto. Knowing how the seller is with his pricing, you could probably snag it for £1500 but the horrors that will be inside will be eye-watering. And I can still smell the cigars
from the pedals I got from him in the room ffs

Still, where else are you gonna get a '62 strat for £2k? A refin could make that thing look great again.

Apparently from the same place I got a '61 Vox AC4 for £300! I think I'd have taken this too if it had been up for sale when I was there. Would be a cool candidate for a custom colour with matching headstock.
