...

This is obviously a joke, but I'm intrigued as to story behind it. Someone trying to look on the bright side of life after losing it in a house fire?
That guy has hundreds of weird listings for fucked Fenders and Fender parts. Always at crazy prices, never discounts anything. I have no idea where he gets it all from either.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

The address stated in the ads is quite close from my home. I've sent him mails but no answer, ever. It's no physical store. Weird.
But what I've heard around locally the guy is known to be ...special.

You’ll have to be more descriptive than that to describe an eccentric German…

Most of my favourite human experiences have come from relentless touring in Germany:

Me: “I’ll grab a chair”
Promoter (literally losing his shit laughing): “hahaha, that isn’t a chair, it’s a stool. It has no back.”

Me: “is there a shop nearby for cigarettes?”
Friendly German gig goer: “yes, it’s approximately 1.2, maybe 1.3 km, in that direction. It’s North by north west if you have a compass with you.”
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Ah yes hahah And this is why i love Germans/Germany. Just had a taxi driver taking us at about 183km/h in his beat up up old toyota something or other on the highway back to the hotel. It did not feel safe. My German was of better quality than his tires and studs. haha

Back on topic: Do people still use Ebay? Is it a variable source of quality and safe purchases? Always strikes me as dodgy these days.

That must be it. The reason none of us get a response from the seller is because it's Pat not wanting to blow his cover with a subconscious "YOU LIVE YOU ALL" tacked onto the end of the email.
