The wear doesn't quite show as well in photos due to the colour, but I think my 61 JM belongs here.

"I don't know why we asked him to join the band 'cause the rest of us don't like country music all that much; we just like Graham Lee."

My kid's late 1959 Fender Jazzmaster, beat and stickered up. He put a Mastery bridge on there, so he is taking care of it - despite what it looks like.
Glad he's playing it as it's meant to be.

Whoa! That's an awesome guitar! My dad would always get after me for putting stickers on guitars, but I dig it. They can always be taken off later (even if they leave a suntan), and they make the guitar more yours.pegguitars wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 11:33 amMy kid's late 1959 Fender Jazzmaster, beat and stickered up. This makes me happy. People putting these things up on pedestals and treating them like untouchable objects is sad so someone enjoying it and doing what the fuck they want is great. I will always sticker up my guitars if I want to...vintage or notpegguitars wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 11:33 amMy kid's late 1959 Fender Jazzmaster, beat and stickered up.

Its Honduras Maroon and most likely a refin.
Exactly, they are there to be used, although I wouldnt modify a mint condition one. Anything else is fair game. Added a sticker to the Mustang today in fact!johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 3:00 pmThis makes me happy. Just realised you're using a Pro Reverb!
What year is it and what are your favoured settings? I've got a '73 and still feel like I'm dialling it in.
