Is there a thread like this for Jazzmasters? Did a search, but no joy.

Dunno if I ever had made a NGD thread about this one I picked up in 2020. It's a (pretty heavy) 1975, black guard.

Sorry, my home photo wasn't at the best angle. Here ya go:supersonicjazzmaster wrote: ↑Mon May 30, 2022 9:48 amGreat white Jag, yessss!
The strings´ position look better with the original bridge instead with the Mastery.? Especially the thick E string looks too much on the outside with the Mastery?
What´s up with the original bridge please?
The original bridge and original bridge thimbles are safely stored away. I'm a roundwound string (D'Addario 11s) guy, so I prefer the Mastery bridge.

Low E still looks closer to the edge of the board than the high E, and the D and G strings are not equidistant from the dot markers. I wonder if the neck needs a slight realignment to even it all out.Surfysonic wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 10:32 pmSorry, my home photo wasn't at the best angle. Cool, I'll have a go at correcting it. Thanks, I like Rob the Guitar Manifesto guy, he's someone I'd want to hang out with a pint of ale.GreenKnee wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 1:43 amLow E still looks closer to the edge of the board than the high E, and the D and G strings are not equidistant from the dot markers. The issue we have here is the OP isn't about to add to the master list.
