The pics on a computer screen are always tricky but to me it looks like OTM and not teal green metallic . The neck pocket looks LPB but it’s a dark photo. Fenders Teal green metallic is a much lighter almost metallic sage green color.

This is a heavily yellowed teal green…

So, I think you folks might be right. I now believe this is OTM. I had a chance to get access to a vintage OTM guitar, an XII, and I took a photo with my Jag. It sure seems like these are the same color. I'm not sure why / how RobbyZ thought this was TGM, but based on the WSG strat pics above and seeing another OTM guitar, I'm pretty sure this is confirmation.

Yeah, I agree, that's undeniably close.

I can’t get my OTM (AO) Jazzmaster to look green in any light. It’s basically just blue whereas in some of your pics it’s really green, almost as dark as Sherwood.

Obviously yours is vintage and probably has had some yellowing to account for that. I’d love for mine to look like that! Whatever colour it is, it’s lovely.

As an owner of a modern (2008) Sherwood green B&B Jaguar I fully endorse this guitar! :) :?

Absolutely beautiful!
:-* :? :-* :? :-*
It also reminds me a lot of the OTM of my former Vintera Jaguar.
But I‘m far from being an expert. They all seem to age a little different - depending on the clearcoat used and how much sun they saw…

I hope you didn't pay Teal Green prices!

And it’s still every bit as lovely!

As the former owner of a lake placid blue '66 jaguar, this post is giving me some incredibly nostalgic good vibes. It's so cool to see these vintage beauties here and hear a bit about how they came into the possession of the current owners. Incredibly jaguar you've got here, I won't be sad if you keep sharing additional photos of it. Great find.

Possible a silly question- how come there's like 0 finish checking? Given that metallic finishes are highly prone to it...

Ask and you shall receive. Here's two pics compared to my '68 LPB Jag

Here's a shot under the control plate showing the tan lines. Per the OTM XII SxS shot, it's aged a bit, but not very much.

Oh, there's lots of finish checking. It's just very fine and tough to capture. Here's a good shot from the tummy cut. Also, this is the photo that best captures the color the guitar looks like IRL.
