Well, you're kinda not wrong. Fender didn't even call the Mustang "Dakota" red (or Daphne blue/Olympic White)...it was advertised as just available in "Red, White or Blue"sal paradise wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:33 amMeh, red is red.

More pics to come but for now im just enjoying it to much to put down.
Its a 2012 XII build, With help from C Novak in sourcing parts.
The orig owner "now deceased" got help from Curtis back in the day to source all the parts in USA.
Was painted in UK.
His son, who sold it me is going to foward me some forum chats with his father discussing origins of parts.
Nice to know but whatever, this is the best guitar outa the box, I have ever owned.
Neck is going to get a thread of its own!
Thats enough of my gushing for now, Im gettin back on it.
