Crucianelli Elite in the house...
Been gone awhile...howdy folks...
Here's a Crucianelli Elite that i recently acquired...
I was told it was a '64??
The thing is dead-mint...it even has the original strap...
Sounds and plays great...
I usually don't keep mint instruments, afraid of putting in the first ding...
But this thing might be a keeper...
Any other Crucianelli fans out there?

Very cool guitar! I've never heard of them, but it looks great. It definitely has that space-age vibe
Out of interest, how is the Concert amp? There's a '62 on Reverb at the minute that I'm intrigued by.

That's beautiful! There was a good thread here a couple of years ago on the rehab of one of these. Here it is

That looks amazing. I love those Italian guitars with the swoopy lines and full coverage in Mother of Toilet Seat.
The artist formerly known as mbene085.

Yep, Élite 40-V. Élite was Crucianelli's export badge; Supreme (as seen on the headstock) was a US distributor brand. IIRC Crucianelli was considered one of the best among Italian guitar manufacturers in the early 60s.
Yours has the metal truss rod plate introduced in 1964, but not the bigger, more Fender-like headstock that debuted the following year, so definitely a '64. It's in amazing shape for a 59 year old guitar. The case is gorgeous too. Great score!

Very nice! I own a red sparkle one with a nice original case. Unfortunately the frets come out of the slots, I have to get the fretwork done completely. It is still playable though.
I remember Garret "G. Love" Dutton playing one (or several) in blue sparkle with MOTO on the back.
Might take a picture later!

My 40V appears to be from late 1963. I think someone painted over the pickguard in the past and I have to wrap the strings around the vibrato.
The case seems to be rather special, I almost traded the guitar plus additional value compensation for a rotten late 70s Mustang. I'm glad I didn't - got the Mustang anyways (sold it on a few months later).
I've barely played the Crucianelli although I've owned it for about 9 years. Future project!

Big love for vintage Italian guitars. I’ve had an Eko and a couple of Goyas over the years. Never came across a Crucianelli in the wild.
Good score!

I do like Italian cheese logs rolled in glitter and pearloid! I have a bunch of EKOs, a Bartolini, and if you go further east on the continent, a Taco, a Migma/Musima, and a Doina Super-Ton, which is a really crappy copy of the Crucianelli made in Romania.

I absolutely love the pickups in these. Little mini humbuckers wound hot and microphonic. So much character!
