Goya Panther S2 N.G.D

Post by Nar B » Fri Jan 06, 2023 5:25 am

My new Goya Panther S2 just got here today, I'm letting her acclimate to house temperature before I get acquainted!.
From Florida to Glasgow in 7-8 days ain't to shabby considering the time of year.
I'll post some photos soon, it's in fantastic condition!.

Yeah I seen your Goya Panther, looks great.
I'm really lucky as everything is original down to the last flathead screw, trem arm & OHSC.
There's one tiny ding on the underside of the headstock, that's it!, It's in amazing condition.
I tried to look for confirmation about the pickup mod, can you jump the caps/resistors with a wire?, It definitely has some goofy sounding options on the buttons.
I'm having a bit of a nightmare trying to upload photos!, I'm really retarded when it comes to all that shit!.
Thanks for your time,
Peace.

I was just having a look at your Goya & my model is identical sans a pickup.
Yours has a bit more lacquer checking, one weird thing about it is the top flat part of the bridge where you palm mute is completely devoid of chrome, same with the rollers too!.
I can't figure out how it happened as the guitar is pretty much mint, there's the tiniest indents in the first two frets?.
I couldn't see your serial number, mines is 990, so I wondered how close they where on the line?.

Mine has 1486 on the neck plate. I haven't had the pickguard off to see what's going on underneath, but jumping the caps/ resisters is what I imagine would be the plan. Mine seems to have any filtering applied only to the neck pickup, not sure with the deal will be with your S2.
Re uploading pics, I'm not good at explaining this stuff, but image hosting sites are the way to go. (I use imgur)
