Thank you. I, too, struggled with decisions like "which sparkle paint do I choose?" and "which of these pickups should I go with?" until I realized that
more guitars means
fewer tough decisions!
The logic is ironclad.

I've always been a sucker for a sparkle Tele/Esquire...back in the 90s I used to buy Guitarist magazine and there was some weird place somewhere in Wembley or something that used to advertise parts, and they had some photos of Tele bodies in all sorts of sparkle.
All these years later my Tele is Candy Apple Red sparkle.
Resident Spartan.

Chandler is what I think of for sparkly 90’s guitars.

Could really do without the slimy Bob $400 strat story again though, it's a bit like working in a care home sometimes.

I thought the same!
To be fair to J, every interviewer asks the same "why the Jazzmaster" question, but still, it's a bit repetitive to say the least.

To be fair, he doesn't really go into it this time and doesn't even mention Slimy Bob so I think even he's had enough of retelling it by now, lol.

I especially liked the bit where he said he never used a JM on any recordings. They're his favourite guitar and he uses them live but he uses other stuff for recording for unique sounds in each song.
Yep, teenage me definitely would have lost his shit to find out that all those albums were Gibsons and a Telecaster.
He definitely said as much in an interview he did in 93 or so in some guitar mag i read at the local borders.
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

I'm not a fan of his, and less so now after watching this. I nearly fell asleep. Wow the guy is such a bag of fun.

He's an acquired taste for sure. Believe it or not, he's really come out of his shell lately.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Very grateful for the skipping of the Slimy Bob story. I’m sure J is very tired of telling it.
